Snow falls silently. Sounds are hushed & silenced. Time slows, snowflake by snowflake until forests, fields, gardens & streets sleep under a fluffy- white- plump duvet. Time stops, marking the beginning of a magical time. Snow is often used in literature to evoke the feeling of a special or magical time.
