A Halloween street.

  1. Make your own little Halloween street lined with six houses

  2. Cut out six little flap doors

  3. Draw or write a TRICK or TREAT inside each door

  4. Stick one door on each house

  5. Draw a handle on each door

  6. Number your doors one to six

  7. Draw cute little Halloween characters in the windows

  8. Draw a TRICK or TREAT bag

Video Time!


Game One

For one to four players

Need:

  • One street of six houses with the doors numbered 1 to 6

  • One dice

  • A Trick or Treat bag for each player

  • A pencil for each player

  • An alarm clock

*Use the bag to record your treats and tricks




Let's play!

  • Set the alarm clock for 5 or 10 minutes

  • Take turns to throw the dice

  • Throw a one and go to house number 1

  • Throw a two and go to house number 2 etc

  • Knock on the door!

  • Open the door. What is inside?

  • Record your TRICK or TREAT on your TREAT or TREAT bag.

*Record with words or pictures

  • When the alarm sounds STOP!!

  • Count the tricks and treats in your bag

  • The winner is the kid with the most treats!

Game Two

For one to four players

Need:

  • Same as for Game One

  • 4 or more Halloween street boards

  • Halloween sweet counters (use any small different coloured wrapped sweets)


Let's play!

  • Put the street boards out in a line/ horseshoe/square

  • Set the alarm for 10 or 15 minutes

  • Choose a house to be the START house

  • Put all the counters on the START house

  • Take turns to throw the dice

  • Throw one and move your counter to the next house

  • Throw two and move your counter two doors down etc

  • Open the door. What is inside?

  • Record your TRICK or TREAT on your TRICK or TREAT bag



  • Keep moving along the street boards until the alarm rings

  • STOP!

  • Count the tricks and treats in your bag

  • The winner is the kid with the most treats
